This is your emergency broadcast system. This is not a test. The following message has been given authorization for release and is being transmitted at the request of the White House, the US military, and emergency services. Important instructions will follow.

This region has been placed on lockdown due to hazardous circumstances. None of which can currently be disclosed to the public. All other channels excluding news channels may be off air temporarily until the situation is resolved.

Listen to the following instructions carefully, as they will not be repeated.

1. Do not leave your house. If you are outside, enter the nearest building. Do not go back for personal possessions. Make sure loved ones, (pets, children, etcetera) are inside and accounted for. Casualties are inevitable and may not be preventable.

2. Do not use your telephone. All telephone lines are either inactive or limited. Emergency services, such as the police department, fire department, or medical assistance are not available at this time.

3. Do not use electricity if possible. Electric lines, water, and other utilities have been disabled, and all energy is finite. Many households will be left without utilities until the situation is resolved. The authorities are trying their best to prevent this if possible.

4. A second broadcast will be transmitted once the hazard is dealt with and the region is taken out of lockdown. It may be days or even months before the lockdown ends. Please remember the authorities are trying hard to serve the populous as best as possible during this time. If you do not have insurance, cannot afford insurance or insurance cannot cover the damages, the government will provide it after the lockdown ends.
