This was a joke. I have the exact opposite feelings. NFTs are a stupid idea. Why would you buy an image for thousands of dollars? You can just admire it, and if you want to keep it, just screenshot it. You don't even buy the image, just a certificate saying you own it. That's like buying the Mona Lisa, and asking, "Cool! Can I take it home with me?", and then the seller saying "NO! You can print out a copy, and have this certificate saying you own it.'. NFTs are flawed and stupid, and people who think they are the future of art are ignorant and don't realize it's a meaningless fad that will die fast. I don't see the purpose of buying the image for the right to use it. Are they gonna send the SWAT team to my house if I steal their image without the rights?
In conclusion, NFTs are flawed and just fads, and it makes no sense to buy the rights to an image when you can use it for free without much consequence. They will die out fast due to their weak foundation and idea. I have no hopes in the appalling world that is NFTs.
